Superior Edge is currently seeking a bright and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to compliment our development staff. The ideal candidate would hold a M.S. / B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year of IT experience.
- Work with leading platforms including Java, Spring, Hibernate, and MS SQL.
- Work with Quality Assurance to test functional product features.
- 1-2 Years of Java / J2EE or C/C+ Experience
- Basic knowledge of database languages is a plus (SQL)
- Team Lead or Technical leadership experience.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong technical and design skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment.
- Fast learner of new and emerging technologies.
- Self motivated and ability to drive features to delivery.
- Experience in Agricultural software and or services is a plus
- Experience working with a multi-tenant environment
- Experience with Jboss, Linux and Hibernate is a plus
- Knowledge of GIS or GIS applications is plus
- Agricultural experience is a plus
- Experience working in a team development environment.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment and may require minimal travel. Work may require occasional evening and/or weekends.
