Junior Software Engineer        APPLY

Summary

Superior Edge Inc., a leading sales software company, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Software Developer to compliment our development staff in Mankato. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience programming in a high-level language preferably Java and must have some web development experience.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Work with leading platforms including Java, Spring, Hibernate, and MS SQL.
2. Work with Quality Assurance to test functional product features.

Technical Knowledge and Skill Requirements

1. 1-2 Years of Java / J2EE or C/C+ Experience
2. Basic knowledge of database languages is a plus (SQL)
3. BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
4. Strong technical and design skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment.
6. Fast learner of new and emerging technologies.
7. Self motivated and ability to drive features to delivery.
8. Experience in Agricultural software and or services is a plus.
9. Experience working with a multi-tenant environment
10. Experience with Jboss, Linux and Hibernate is a plus
11. Knowledge of GIS or GIS applications is plus
12. Agricultural experience is a plus
13. Experience working in a team development environment.

Working Conditions
